The Role:
Summary: A member of the Supply Chain Management reporting directly to the Materials and Logistics Lead Ensure the movement of people, materials and equipment from point of origin to the construction sites prior to and during the construction of the Plant and associated supporting infrastructure;work with the Materials and Logistics Lead to determine synergies with the Supply Chain Infrastructure; frequent travel to Papua New Guinea will be required as part of the role.

Main responsibilities:
• Research, design, implement and manage various documents such as Logistics Plan, Traffic Management Plan (Warehousing), Equipment Shipping and Handling Management Plan, Journey Management Plan for a remote site project
• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders including the Materials and Logistics Lead, Project Manager, Construction Manager and the project Engineering Team
• Source 272 Man Camp and Warehouse facilities by bid, analysis and award contract to successful bidder for the construction phase of the project.
• Design and plan for the warm/cold stack of the camp at the end of the construction phase leaving a reduced size operating camp for use during operations and planned maintenance of the Gas Facility
• Monitor and record progress of the manufacturing schedule to ensure that the construction schedule is maintained
• Source project transport (site based) support by bid, evaluation and the appointment of the successful bidder
• Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs, etc.) required for tracking and forecasting of deliveries
• Ensures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exist for all shipments. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner
• Manage appropriate records as materials arrive to ensure accountability including Project Assets
• Ensure hired plant and equipment is managed in a cost effective manner and returned to owner upon completion of utilization and in an expeditious manner

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or greater than 10 years industry experience
• Experience in Maximo (or similar ERP)
• Time Management
• Effective communication
HSE requirements:
• ASA training
• STOP training
