The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Provide leadership and direction to Supply Base sub-contractor personnel in the Safe and Incident free delivery of Supply Base Scope of Work (SOW)
• Promotion of IIF values and development of IIF culture.
• Provide direction to personnel and manage resources employed in the discharging and back loading of a wide range of Marine vessels in both LOLO and RORO operations.
• Provide direction and leadership to personnel engaged in Crane operations.
• Provide direction and leadership o personnel engaged in operation light and heavy mechanical equipment.
• Have a thorough knowledge of Project procedures and ensure Supply Base Sub contractor’s personnel are compliant with procedure in the execution of their SOW.
• Communicate / Liaise with other contractors and manage interface between Supply Base Sub Contractor and other Contractor personnel.
• Interface and cooperate with other Project divisions, such as Marine, Cranes and Rigging, Materials, Commissioning etc.
• Completion of weekly HSE Lead Indicator activities (TSTO’s, LPI’s, HIRC’s, Safety Inspections etc)
• Completion of daily and weekly reports & briefs.
• Delivery of topics and leading discussion at Toolboxes, Pre-starts, Pauses for Safety and other improvement tools.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Logistics Supervisor with a demonstrable record of FIFO work, and specific experience working with transport, shipping and Cranes. The successful candidate will be proficient in Behavioural Based Safety programmes, will demonstrate Incident and Injury values, and will have a keen sense of the importance of safety over productivity. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in developing and improving productivity performance within the constraints of an Incident and Injury free operation. The successful candidate will be a team player, comfortable to work with others, and willing to cover the work scope of colleagues off rotation. Dynamic thinking, mentoring and motivation will be key capabilities. This role is primarily a day shift role, but the successful incumbent will be required to work nightshift on occasion, as directed by management.

Note: Rotational schedule may be change due to business requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience in Safety and Risk management at tactical level.
• Proven experience in Construction project Work. Oil and Gas experience is considered a distinct advantage.
• Proven experience with an EPCM team.
• Proven experience working FIFO
• Proven experience in marine environment, working with vessels and cranes.
• Proven experience in the management and leadership of a large and diversified workforce.
• DG qualification for carriage of goods by Sea. Additional qualification in DG carriage of goods by Road and/ or Air will be a distinct advantage.
• Qualification in training and assessing would be an advantage.
• Proven experience working with Quarantine and within a Quarantine Approved Premise
• Driver’s Licence.
• Rigging and Dogging qualification would be an advantage
