The Company:
With operations across the world, our client uses innovation and technology to deliver energy to a growing world. They are currently leading an integrated LNG Project in PNG that includes gas production and processing facilities including liquefaction and storage facilities.

The Role:
The Logistics Supervisor - Upstream will oversee the ramp up and development of a logistics team for upstream locations, incorporating production logistics best practices and achieve OIMS compliance and supervise the upstream logistics operation, to provide safe, efficient logistics support to all upstream operations. This includes HGCP, Komo Airfield, well pads and pipeline route. Functional responsibility for upstream ground transport of personnel and materials, field aviation, fuel distribution, PTS, camps, catering and grounds/road maintenance.

Pre-start up and post-start responsibilities include:

Coordinate the acceptance and handover of facilities and equipment from EPC4, EPC5, C1 and EMDC logistics for Upstream locations (Hides, Komo, Valve Sites).
Implement contracts for support services at Upstream locations, including Catering, Camp Maint, Transport.
Finalise Operating procedures, and implement suitable inductions and training for incoming Logistics personnel.
Plan and execute assigned elements of Stewardship Transfer, including transfer of personnel, equipment and documentation.
Manage any shared-service arrangements with EMDC Logistics or EPC’s
Leadership and development of the Upstream logistics workforce and functions. Develop training and development plans for personnel.
Operational oversight of contractor performance and compliance, developing and implementing strategies for contractor development where required.
Ensure all logistics and support services for Upstream operations are in place and OIMS compliant, to meet the needs of Production operations.
Ensure work management activities are consistent and aligned to best practices, with any variances identified, documented and reported.
Provide a focal point for any Upstream activities and planning events requiring Logistics input, such as drilling campaigns, shutdown maintenance or contingency operations.
Liaise and integrate plans with other functions and stakeholders, including O&M, Procurement, Security, CA and 3rd party contractors.
Ensure full and complete reporting of group activities, including routine KPI’s and Metrics, as well as other reports as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with operational logistics functions, with remote experience preferred
Previous experience within an oil and gas company
Supervisory experience
Experience within a large corporation or complex organisational setting

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or comparable qualifications in Business, Operations or Logistics
