Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

The main responsibility for this role is to maintain and support the Group vehicle tracking system named FIS, with the aim that it is 100% available during all main line production periods.To achieve this, the candidate must monitor the system and the interfaces to other systems, identify potential issues before they cause a major problem and put in place the counter measures. In the event of a problem occurring they will also provide problem solving support to investigate and resolve issues as quickly as possible, involving and coordinating the help from the external 3rd party systems support and Group systems support.
The candidate will coordinate the annual financial spend for FIS printer hardware and stationery, ensuring there is a continues uninterrupted supply of the required stationery available for Production and Logistics manifests to be produced from the FIS system. They will ensure that the manifests are printed correctly automatically or when required trigger manual prints to support production requirements. They will also be responsible for developing and configuring the system to deliver Company requirements so that cars are tracked at significant milestones during the build process and car order build information / documentation is sent out at the correct time. Finally the position also gives local support for the development of business reports accessing information from multiple sources, technical support for help with a variety of software packages and overall Logistics support for the main Logistics share drive.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s level A-C or equivalent qualifications including Mathematics and English.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
- Good communication Skills.
- Oracle/ SQL program Skills.
- Basic understanding of network messaging using PMON.
- Conversant with the UNIX operating system.
- A3 Problem solving experience.
- Training of other Team members.
- Interpersonal skills.
