The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Due to internal growth a position is now available for a Logistics Team Lead to join the team based in Onslow.

Duties will include:

Provide strategic/tactical input and guidance to the site construction project leadership team, procurement managers, estimating teams, construction management, EPC Contractor and business unit partners regarding in-country logistics, export compliance, host country customs regulations and import formalities.
Collaborate with Project Team to develop Logistics standards and templates to be utilized for in-country (Australia) logistic planning and execution.
Support review and assessment of EPC Contractor's contracting and transportation strategies as part of the project execution plan with emphasis on local logistic infrastructure.
This position will provide verification, assurance and oversight of the following subcontract scopes: (1) air services, (2) waste management, (3) busing, (4) heavy lift / heavy haul, (5) diesel fuel supply management, (6) marine assurance activities, and (7) over-all in-country traffic management.
Implement and support safety leadership thru implementation and monitoring of project Incident and Injury Free (ZAP – Zero Accident Plus) program.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position you will possess the following:
A University Degree or appropriate work experience
15+ years in logistics related discipline
Strong communication skills mandatory, must have strong attention to detail and be able to prepare effective presentation material
Strong inter-personnel skills a must
Ability to work with Company Project Management and effective engagement of EPC Contractor required
Previous experience with aviation, bussing and security services beneficial
Previous work experience in a remote job camp environment

The position duration of this role is 12 months and is located in Onslow, working 11 hour days on a 28/28 day rotational roster.
