Is a leading Automotive manufacturer and is currently experiencing an upturn in production with demand increasing globally.

The Role:
Scope

The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and direction for the processes operated in controlling the financial aspects of Inventory Management. It is also to ensure a robust framework for supporting the business processes and IT functionality, enabling an effective and efficient Inventory Management process.

Key Responsibilities

• Management direction and control for perpetual inventory count process.
• Coordination of inventory concerns processes and inventory management related activities.
• To ensure efficient management of the inbound concerns process and timely processing of invoice queries.
• To provide a technical support service to Material Handling, including 1st line IT/ RF and network support services, problem resolution and "root-cause" analysis of process errors.
• To ensure all departmental documentation is maintained and adherence to quality standards TSI6949.
• Measure and monitor departmental processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated ideally to a minimum of degree standard or equivalent.
• Advanced level of IT literacy (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Access/ Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
• Excellent meeting and organisational skills.
• A "hands-on" approach to projects and tasks.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• SAP experience desirable - an understanding of its uses and applications. Experience of managing a small team Exposure to inventory management related activities
