The Company:

The Role:
• To effectively co-ordinate and manage the LOLER Scheme of Compliance.
• Manage the Lifting Equipment Integrity Management System (LEIMS).
• Co-ordinate the alignment of the company, WGPSN and Sub-contractors with the LOLER Scheme of Compliance.
• Act as focal point for issues relating to LOLER competence and training.
• Provide technical support and guidance on suitability of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Identify gaps in NVQ and SVQ performance and support teams in filling those gaps for LOLER related activities.
• Co-ordinate Competence Compliance with respect of LOLER.
• Provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of regulatory and contractual requirements of LOLER.
• Co-ordinate and participate in process audits.
• Manage incident investigations involving Hoisting and Lifting. Main Interfaces:
• Interface with Health & Safety Executive, Step Change, OPITO/Cogent, Offshore Contractor

Association and other relevant Industry Bodies
• LOLER Team onshore
• Employing Company’s HR/Training Departments
• ICP and Sub contractors
• Client Management Team
• Client HSEQ Department
• Client HR Department
• Contractors Management Team
• Contractors HSEQ Department
• Contractors HR Department
• Contractors Head of Asset Modifications and Project engineers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in Competence frameworks
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Previous Operational Supervisory Experience
• Relevant offshore experience in Rigging, Hoisting & Lifting within the Oil and Gas Industry
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Good Communicator and Self motivated
• Good knowledge and experience of construction methods, planning reporting
• Proactive Approach to resolving difficult situations
• Must demonstrate exemplary leadership skills including HS&E leadership
• Promote and be proactive in Safety
• Computer Literate
• SAP knowledge preferable
• Knowledge of current legislation and best practices Competencies:
• OPITO Stage 3 Rigging Assessment (pre-requisite)
• ECITB Moving Loads Appointed Person (pre-requisite)
