The Company:
A major Oil and Gas operator for an Offshore project

The Role:
The service holder shall take the leadership for the Project lower completion package, and as such is responsible for all the activities related to the lower & intermediate completion – sand control engineering and operations preparation for the Project deepwater wells (59 wells planned: 33 producers + 26 water injectors).

The period of activity starts at the project Final Investment Decision (FID, expected early 2014) until the transfer of the Project Drilling & Completion team to Angola (expected Q3-Q4 2014).

The service holder could be proposed to be transferred to Angola with the Project team.

The service holder is responsible for the finalization of the ongoing Call For Tenders, the kick-off and follow-up of the equipment manufacturing, and the preparation of completion running program.

The service holder shall ensure that Completion operations are prepared efficiently and cost effectively as possible within the agreed budget, schedule and Statement of Requirements in compliance with the Company HSE requirements and codes of practices.

The service holder shall, in the performance of these responsibilities, contribute to maximise the NPV of the project by finding means to increase wells productivity and/or decrease DRILLEX thanks to the best definition of completion engineering and applied techniques.

The service holder is also responsible for developing the completion of wells - fitted for purpose, operable, maintainable and reliable - within the agreed budget and schedule for completion.

The service holder reports to the Lead Completion Engineer.


Based PAU (France) until Q3-Q4 2014 – Missions in Angola or abroad to be forecasted.

The service holder will prepare the Project wells completion campaign within project team,

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): +/- 15
Experience in similar position (years): min 5-7.
Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent.
Languages: English mandatory
