The Role:
To provide specialist construction engineering advise for LQ in detailed engineering design of offshore floating production system. To ensure that contractor designs and specifications meet project requirements, company functional requirements, guidelines and best practices and industry best practices.

•Responsible for engineering, progress, cost, design and quality for all LQ, work shop areas and helideck for the project FPSO
•Responsible for implementation of requirements within material, surface protection, insulation and marking for the relevant areas
•Responsible for the specification, definition and selection of the best technical/economical solutions for the subject areas (LQ, work shops and helicopter deck)
•Contribute to development of optimal floating production utility areas and LQ solutions
•Development and verification of the project FPSO LQ solutions and specifications in close co-ordination with the Client corporate standards
•Assist within structural and constructability design premises and integrity for the relevant topside LQ module including helicopter deck
•General advise in methods and LQ module fabrication and integration for the work shop, LQ and helideck parts
•Planning, reviewing and following-up of LQ design, engineering, construction and commissioning
•Specification and follow-up of sub-contractors and vendors within LQ engineering/procurement activities
•Weight, cost and planning estimate verifications with emphasis on LQ construction and integration phases
•Participate in relevant overall structural design, modularization, layout, constructability, integration, transport, lifting and HSE reviews related to the subject responsibility areas
•Identify and mitigate critical activities and propose solutions with constructability and structural design matters

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Engineering Degree in Civil or Architectural
•Experience with Engineering, Installation, Construction, Hook-Up, Integration and Operation of equipment and systems in offshore projects
•Offshore survival course
•Local legislative competence courses
•10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience including 7 years of structural design and construction management experience
