The Role:
Please note that this is a residential position.


•To provide Maintenance and Engineering Machinery Protection and monitoring related advice input to design stages for machinery in EPC projects and to identify strategic opportunities for improvements in the content and methods.
•To provide expert maintenance and engineering machinery protection and monitoring related advice, support and services during Factory Acceptance Testing and during commissioning and start-up for new facilities.

Key components of this machinery system advice support and services will generally be in the following areas:
Compressor Anti-surge Protection (CCC, Invensys)
Compressor Performance Control (CCC, Invensys)
Machinery Protection System (BN System 1, BN 3500)
Machinery Condition monitoring (BN System 1, RTIS; Off-line Hand held, Dry Gas Seal)
Machinery Performance Analysis System
Emissions Abatement (DLN1)
Gas Turbine Controls and software (Speedtronic)

From the following perspectives:
Anti-surge testing and confirming compressor operating envelope
Output and efficiency of machinery
Configuring and confirming machinery parameter limits
Monitoring and controlling changes to machinery operating settings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must be familiar with various types of Machinery Controls and Protection Systems and diagnostics and analysis associated with their output.
