The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a for Mail and Courier Services Officer to manage the mailroom service across local and remote office location, and oversee and manage mailroom team personnel. This role will be based on a fixed term contract and will be salaried.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Daily management and coordination of mail services delivered to the company and incoming /outgoing archiving consignments.
• Communicate with appointed vendor and internal departments and attend service meetings to review services and provide performance feedback to the supervisor.
• Daily supervision and management of Service Support Officers to ensure performance meets expectation.
• Address and respond to ensure any queries regarding lost or misplaced deliveries. Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the matter is resolved in a timely manner.
• Understand and liaise with the each departments to ensure relevant documents /consignments (IM&T consignments, tender documents, ergonomic supplies, newspapers etc.) are handled as per the process/time frame.
• Liaise with building loading dock to advise of any non-standard consignments that may be require prolonged or after-hours access as needed.
• Ensure that all Perth Tenancy assets are recorded on the asset system.
• Assist and provide input for continuous improvement of all relevant procedures that form the part of the responsibility of the mailroom facility.
• Coordinate, perform and manage the delivery of services in the event of any absence by the Service Support Officer roles.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous experience within a similar role where you have been managing a team
• Ability to supervise and mentor co-workers
• To be able to work without supervision
• To be able to problem solve as issues arise and review process to mitigate repeated issues
• Sound writing skills and the ability to create and revise internal procedures and sound communication skills.
