The Role:
Responsible for the day to day and long-term planning and scheduling management for an Operational Asset. Planning and Scheduling roles are growing within company Assets since the introduction of the Integrated Field Planning Process. Individuals in this role could have developed as specialist planners/schedulers, developed from site roles or be from an engineering background. Planners more likely to be company staff, schedulers more likely to be contract personnel.

Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of fully optimised maintenance schedule
Preparation of the Maintenance and Inspection 8Q Schedule
Resource Levelling of the Planned Maintenance and Inspection program
Complete initial scheduling of preventative maintenance activities based on resource availability and production constraints
Conduct regular reviews to ensure validity/accuracy of planned maintenance resource profile including integration of emergent activities into the schedule Activity Planning a)Identification and securing availability of vendors b)Identification and ordering of materials required c)Identification of services required d)Ensuring activities are gate compliant at 8Q, 6 and 12 week gates.

Manage/Ownership of the Planned Maintenance and Job Plan data set within Maximo
a)Ensure accurate job plans exist for all PM activities within Maximo including all resources, services, materials, procedures, documents, tools etc
b)Ownership and management of the process to ensure ongoing review and accuracy of all PM and job plan data Interfaces a)Maintenance Engineer b)Integrity Engineer c)TAR Team d)ACE Teams e)Offshore Teams

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline preferred.
Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes
Good working knowledge of company standards, Integrity Management, Control of work and HSSE
Understanding of Planning and Scheduling processes and concepts
Good communication and engagement skills
Cooperative in groups and towards other disciplines and functions

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and success in developing new working relationships
In depth knowledge of Maximo
Good computer skills, including Microsoft base products and Planning tools (Microsoft Project / Primavera)
Structured approach with talent for planning
Positive attitude, self confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative
