The Company:
A major oil & gas operator

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Inspection Team Leader fluent in English and French to be based in Angola.

Throughout the Project, the main responsibilities of the Maintenance & Inspection Team Leader are:
To prepare, set up and launch Maintenance and inspection contract for the facilities encompassed within the Project according to the Project objectives and Client requirement.
To define and propose actions to be implemented to apply these strategies
After management approval, to execute and follow-up these actions
To co-ordinate these actions with other Project activities.

To develop and up-date the “Maintenance philosophy” and “Inspection philosophy” documents
To follow-up and control the maintenance and inspection engineering activities regarding the FPSO and the SPS (Definition and configuration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is part of this activity)
To follow-up the detailed engineering activities of the main packages (FPSO, OLS, AMS, SPS and SURF) to ensure that maintenance and inspection requirements are taken into consideration.
To prepare and launch the various maintenance contracts required for the production phase and to prepare the relevant technical recommendations, to follow up the contracts awards.
To prepare the future maintenance and inspection activities for the first-oil in relationship with off-shore and on-shore organisation
HSEQ responsibilities:
Support and enforce the HSEQ Project objectives and directives
Support and implement the Project HSEQ management system (plans, procedures and specifications)
Attend HSEQ meetings and training when required
Participate in Job Safety Analysis and make suggestions
Report unsafe acts or conditions observed

OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS
Ensures Group Referential is implemented throughout Project for all Maintenance & Inspection related activities and liaise with Headquarter division as required
Ensures training and coaching of client commissioning personnel assigned to the Maintenance & Inspection team and follow their development.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree certified with relevant experience
10 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, 5 years experience in the field of maintenance and / or asset planning in a supervisory role.
Good knowledge of planning techniques and systems, Offshore operations, and maintenance functions.
During detailed engineering and FPSO yard construction, with missions to France and other geographical sites as required
