The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas Owner/Operator, is seeking expertise for their mega projects in Alberta.

The Role:
Reporting to the Program Leader of the SAP Re-Implementation Project, this role is to be responsible for all maintenance business processes.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Champion the re-engineering of the maintenance business processes
• Ensure maintenance business area is fully represented in the design and implementation of the new SAP system
• Ensures maintenance business requirements are defined appropriately
• Collaborates and coordinates with other Business Leads to ensure integration and alignment within the project
• Make design decisions on behalf of maintenance business
• Resolves issues specific to maintenance business area
• Provides comprehensive knowledge of business processes, including: process flows, data requirements, technology, people and integration
• Full understanding of process issues and "pain-points"
• Obtains buy-in to the process vision from Maintenance business key stakeholders, process owners, and end users
• Delivers transactional reporting requirements and drives high level report design
• Leverages the Maintenance business to support design and testing activities
• Facilitates weekly Maintenance work-stream status meetings
• Manages and coordinates the design workshops, ensuring sufficient and appropriate maintenance business attendance
• Champions and supports project management principles and processes on the maintenance business side
• Supports deployment and full adoption by the business of re-engineered maintenance business processes
• Supervise, coach, and lead team of maintenance subject matter experts from the business, application functional analysts, and contractors in development, deployment, and support of re-engineered business processes in the new SAP system.
• Remove obstacles to progress and escalate issues and decision making impasses as necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Journeyman or Trades Certificates (or Engineering degree)
• Minimum of 10 years' experience of contributing to the success of a range of midsize-to-large initiatives with above-average levels of complexity and business criticality
• Minimum of 10 years' experience leading medium to large multi-disciplinary teams, building a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management stakeholders
• Familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of enterprise's business processes would be an asset
• Proven internal and external influencing skills at senior and executive management levels
• Maintenance Coordinator/Supervisory experience from oil and gas industry
• Minimum 5 years' experience working in an oil and gas domain
• SAP End-User Knowledge

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent would be an asset
Graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) would be an asset
