The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Act as Maintenance’s focal point in determining maintenance service contractor strategies, administration of service contracts and deal with issues pertaining to the service contractors.
1. Maintain a copy of the contractors’ current safety program.
2. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Procurement, Site Services, services requestor and service provider vendors to ensure that adequate, qualified service support is safely provided to manage the client's services as per service schedule.
3. Conduct periodic audits of the contractor’s safety and health program to ensure compliance with both the Company and contractor’s elements.
4. Periodically evaluate contractors’ safety performance and communicate the results to respective contractors.
5. Maintain a process that allows the contractor access to the current copy of the pertinent safety standards.
6. Determine the type of access cards required by contractors.
7. Ensure that the contractors’ training records are forwarded to them.
8. Participate in incident investigations that involve the contractors.
9. Assist the labor buyer in determining the safety and health criteria for removal of a contractor from the qualified bidders’ list and for the removal of an individual contractor’s employee from the site.
10. Maintain individual contractor’s file on problems/issues/observations and incident information.
11. Ensure appropriate record keeping as required by law for contractors directed by the company.
12. Respond to contractors’ safety concerns.
13. Assist labor buyer in determining the most cost effective means of supplying required area services.
14. Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices strictly comply with EH&S’ guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
15. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Two-year associate’s Technical Degree or 2-3 years’ additional experience in similar technical/ industrial field of work.
