The Role:
Main Duties:
◦Review planned maintenance routines and carry out optimization studies within the instrument discipline to minimize the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability
◦Provide support on instrument maintenance and certification activities, advising on proposed modifications to facilities.
◦Ensure that all appropriate Instrument maintenance and technical records including plant history are updated as required using Maximo
◦Review the types of stock holding levels of Instrument equipment held as spare parts, and optimize the inventory, stock management and co-ordination of the ordering of spares in conjunction with the Materials Co-Ordinator
◦Manage and execute all daily actions from the installations to ensure that priorities will be achieved
◦Support daily TMAX (WORM) Meeting, work order performance, prioritisation review and YTT Review Meeting with Maintenance & Operations teams
◦Continually review effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems and Reliability / Availability performance of assets
◦Carry out all work in accordance with HSEQ systems
◦Key role in ensuring that technical integrity is not compromised on a installation through any maintenance activities
◦Provide technical advice and guidance in the field of Instrumentation and Instrument systems to offshore teams
◦Continually monitor all Operational Excellence / Maintenance related business targets and report where required to onshore Maintenance Co-Ordinator
◦Ensure critical Instrument activities are accurately reflected in asset plans
◦Ensure the use of subcontractors is managed and delivers value to the operation
◦Monitor and report on progress and effectiveness
◦Support integrated planning process to minimise plant downtime and optimise resources to ensure the completion of critical and breakdown maintenance activities
◦Participate in the AFA process and provide technical and planning expertise to ensure modifications are implemented on time and within budget
◦Manage allocated operations maintenance budget effectively with minimum waste
◦Ensure TAR related activity and all Pre/Post related Tar activities are supported and prioritized ensuring maximum efficiency
◦Actively work to reduce and manage maintenance backlogs
◦Apply RCA techniques to solve problems
◦Be a ‘Champion' to Introduce ‘Innovation', new ideas, change, into the asset with respect to maintenance in it's broadest sense to improve overall performance
◦Work as part of multidiscipline onshore support team and provide support for other team members as appropriate
