The Company:
Our client is an international oil & gas operator.

The Role:
Within the framework of general goals of the project, for Instrumentation trade (field and systems), insure that the design of various packages is suitable regarding Maintenance, reliability/availability, at acceptable cost.
Contributing to provide at the due date and within budgets all the means required to perform from the Start-Up date maintenance of equipment, in line with Company standards and good practices.
Supporting the start-up of the plant and the handover to affiliate teams in good safety conditions, environment preservation, integrity and reliability
To comply with HSE requirements
To take part in the implementation of the Safety Culture process “IMPACTS” within Project.

To prepare under Maintenance & Inspection Leader responsibility maintenance of all instrumentation and control-command equipments, analysers part of the project, for the whole lifecycle of the plant. This will include in particular :
- Contributing to definition of maintenance strategy and means to implement it during operation.
- Identification of Company rules and general specifications (CR, GS) in this trade, and Guides and Manuals as well, in Engineering and Maintenance / Operation, good knowledge of them and sharing with the project team
- Attendance to Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) or AMDEC studies performed by the MIEC (maintenance and Inspection Engineering Contractor), control the quality of results and provide expertise from his own background or
affiliate / Company Return on Experience. Check and approve all criticalities of functions and equipment, from maintenance point of view.
- Reporting of all gaps with Company standards, justification and argumentation for changes when needed
- Following-up of all Detail Engineering activities within various packages (FPU, TLP, subsea…), insure coherence of the design with service conditions and reliability and availability project objectives
- To Insure that maintenance concerns are taken into account by Engineering and Integration teams/contractors, in line with maintenance strategy. Contribution for resolution of issues
- Contribution to preparation of commissioning procedures for instrumentation equipment, attendance to this commissioning phase for the most complex or critical items, and insurance that other loops are correctly
- Following-Up of Maintenance Engineering activities performed by MIEC contract in Instrumentation, consisting mainly
of :
* exhaustive documentation constitution, approbation of deliverables till their integration within PRODOM tool
* completeness and coherence of Topo-functional breakdown (TPF) before upload into SAP, at unit, functional location and equipment level, following internal rules and practices
* setting-up of preventive (systematic or conditional) maintenance plans issued from RCM or legal or Company prescriptive rules, including measuring points under UNISUP format till their upload within SAP
* specific engineering of functions involved in Process Safety, including maintenance plans and measuring points
* Spare parts dossiers, either for reference or for storage
* Specific Tools required for routine maintenance and shutdowns
* Maintenance manuals, but also operation manuals for complex units And facilitating the interface between MIEC contractor and other project teams, affiliate, Engineering and Integration contractors, Company Headquarters.
- Writing-off of specific maintenance procedures in particular for threshold setting-up and action plans in conditional maintenance activities
- Early preparation of Hand Over between MIEC contract, the affiliate and Maintenance contractors.
- Contribution for appliance of contractual strategy for General Maintenance Contract (GMC) et Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC) : choice of bidders, preparation of scope of work, attendance to technical clarifications, support
during implementation and start-up of these contracts, including trainings.
- Contribution if required by the affiliate to the organization of maintenance in Instrumentation for PROJECT plant, including selection of personnel, trainings, procurement of tooling, workshops, dedicated platforms for PLC and
Systems used on the plant…
Support the MIL to insure Safety within all activities linked to the project, in particular in his trade
Support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives
Support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans, procedure and specifications)
Monitor the implementation of safety procedures and working practices by Contractor
Comply with the HSE Training required for his position

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Graduate in industrial maintenance Physics, or CIRA technician diploma, or equivalent
Background : more than 10 years of experience in Instrumentation in offshore or petrochemical industry
Open mind to innovation, good ability for transverse organisations, team working, priorities management.
Fluent English (spoken & written), French is a plus.
