The Company:
Our Client is a foreign operator in Algeria who are currently producing oil from three major projects.

The Role:
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to work on a 28/28 rotation in Algeria, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This role requires a 5 year commitment and would be employer on a 12 month renewable contract.

Expected start date is July 2015.

Duties include:
• Responsible for all maintenance related issues in the field;
• Maintenance Integrity & reliability of static and Rotating Equipment.
• Assist the Field Manager with daily operations to ensure the facilities are maintained in compliance with company processes, HSE Standards, and other relevant Standards and codes.
• Demonstrate leadership, commitment and foster a culture where health, safety and the environment are not compromised.
• Manage a range of assigned Support Service Contracts.
• Prepare reports, analyses data and makes recommendations for improving plant operations or solving maintenance-related problems.
• Manage the planning and execution of special projects as necessary i.e. Shutdowns/ Turnarounds.
• Interface with other departments in the daily operations and routine interpretation of the operations needs to meet KPI targets.
• Integral part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Liaise with the A&C Department for the delivery of material and contracts.


HSE

• Ensure that all CPF and Offsites Maintenance is carried out in accordance with Company HSE procedures and standards. Investigate and report any Division Maintenance HSE related issues or incident.
• Directs, maintains and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department, reviews safety records to uphold standards of safety for the entire facility
• Ensuring that the integrity of all Company facilities comply with industry and regulatory standards.
• Direct the contractor safety program to promote safe work practices of contract service providers and company employees in Division Maintenance.
• Direct and improve the driver safety program by tracking, reporting, and promoting the electronic driver data of all employee and service company vehicles.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or alternatively 15 years of industry Experience in Maintenance with an International Oil Company.
Fluent in French and/or Arabic essential
Min 3-5 years’ experience in a Maintenance Management position
Min 10 years within the maintenance and operations industry for a large Oil & Gas projects
Ability to work in a team oriented environment, good analytical and problem solving skills; work with minimal supervision, self-starter
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
Experience with working in a multi-national / multi-cultural work environment.
