The Role:
• Work with Oilfield Services Companies (OSC) to organise the 3, 6 & 12 month PM schedule for the offshore pedestal cranes and coordinate with the asset integrity team to align the PM schedules with the 6 & 12 month recertification plan. As part of the work with the OSC organise the spares holding at the Sattahip warehouse and make recommendations for spare parts holdings, quantities, rebuildable items and preservation thereof.
• Work with OSC to organise and verify the overhaul and preservation of Flowserve centrifugal pumps, ABB certified electric motors and Stamford/Newage ac generators. Make recommendations on how to preserve and manage the spare pumps, motors and generators in the Sattahip warehouse and raise stock item numbers for these rebuildable stock items and associated spare parts. Cover the overhaul of Bornemann screw pumps and the return of these to Sattahip as rebuildable stock items, additionally check the stock items held at Sattahip for these pumps and recommend the optimum stock levels.
• Work with a radiator fabricator to design a "fit all radiator". This will involve visits to the Oil Field to review current installations, measure available space and dimensions between components, discuss installation and fitting problems with offshore maintenance personnel. Design the universal radiator and record in the EDMS along with MTO for future rebuild activities. Make recommendations for spares holding quantity, organise storage and preservation of the spare radiators at the Sattahip warehouse.
• Liaise with Sattahip warehouse personnel on the identification of stock items and inventory optimisation, including the categorisation of materials and establishment of min/max levels.
• Assist the maintenance group with overspill of day to day work, as required

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
A university degree in Mechanical engineering with at least 7 years’ experience in maintenance of production process and plant equipment is required. The majority of your experience should be obtained in field operations and/or workshops from an Oil & Gas or Chemical plant environment or from an appropriate OSC.

This is a position in which you will be required to possess strong analytical, logical and lateral thinking. People management skills and an ability to communicate in both Thai and English are essential.
