The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to work as part of the Reliability and Maintenance team the Maintenance Strategy Execution team is tasked with the following deliverables:

Maximising uptime by minimising intrusive maintenance and avoiding the need for equipment shutdowns.
Executing cost effective cross functional maintenance.
Deploying consistent planned maintenance routines against agreed performance standards
Measuring the effectiveness of the maintenance strategy.

The development of a competent national team to support the short, medium and long term requirements..

In support of these objectives the Maintenance Planner is accountable for:
Activity Planning support to the R&M Maintenance Engineers who are the SPA’s (Single Point Accountability) for the safe and effective execution of R&M activities (CAP).
The Maintenance Planner will be the R&M Planning ‘Focal Point’ supporting the effective delivery of planning & scheduling with accountability for ensuring execution, closeout, and lessons learned for critical preventive and corrective maintenance with scopes including:
Planned Maintenance Routines
Long Term Correctives – (Non Routine)
Rotating Eqpt Activity - (GT Overhauls & Inspections / Major Pump Changeouts)
Maintenance Campaigns such as; Adhoc Electrical / Mechanical / Instrument Maintenance, PSV, EX, Hose, Crane, Lifeboats, F&G, Heat Exchanger Change outs etc.

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a proven track record of safety behaviors and attitude, good communication skills and ability to work across discipline boundaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Activity Delivery

Provides detailed Planning & coordination of R&M activities supporting the R&M Function SPA’s to ensure all R&M activities are fully planned with All Gate Criteria fully satisfied for each level of Functional Plan / Area Schedule.
Works with Platform personnel to ensure all offshore preparatory work is identified, planned and completed prior to execution of R&M Activities (Gate Criteria)
Liaises closely with R&M Functional Planner to ensure All R&M activities are correctly represented on the various levels of Functional Plan / Area Schedules.
Liaises with Area Material coordinators to ensure R&M activity materials are ordered and expedited in order to satisfy WO target dates (Gate Criteria).
Ensures the R&M target of Zero Overdue SCE WO’s is achievable including pro-actively addressing any SCE WO that may potentially not be executable within the required timeframe.
Ensures all R&M Work Orders in Maximo are of good quality with all necessary data and scheduling information populated and maintained on an ongoing basis.
Attendance at Functional Planning meetings, with accountability for representing R&M.
Production of planning reports including Forward Look reports, Backlog reports, Opportune Shutdown reports, Waiting Material reports and other ad hoc reports as requested by SPA’s & TL.
Ongoing Identification, suggestion and initiation of Maximo maintenance build improvements.

Commercial Accountability

Technical Assurance / Reliability
Review PMR content for correctness to ensure activity optimization
Definition of critical spares and ensuring resource controller is aware of any shortfall
Learn from operations and maintenance experience and share learning’s in pursuit of improvement programme
Contribute to development & improvement of maintenance performance measures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
o Experience in discipline engineering & maintenance with a minimum of 5 years experience in a planning role in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry
o Extensive understanding of offshore working environments with preference given to candidates with experience on more than one platform.
o Good working knowledge of planning software in a maintenance / operations environment (Primavera P3/P3e, MS Project).
o Good understanding and working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, preferably Maximo.
o HNC / HND in an Engineering discipline
o Has familiarity with industry design and construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
o Competency in reading technical drawings e.g. P&IDs
o Demonstrated computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
o A good communicator with proven influencing and networking skills.
o A working knowledge of tools used for data analysis.
