The Company:
LNG Client

The Role:
• Coordination and technical planning of the maintenance activities for the Client LNG Terminal, Storage and Pipeline, including meeting the objective of production targets and minimizing unscheduled equipment downtime.
• Provide Planning services for all maintenance activities associated with scheduled and unscheduled shut down work and emergency repairs and day-to-day planning as needed.
• Maintain schedules and frequencies in the SAP CMMS system, including delinquency reports.
• Provide look ahead plans of up to 90 days.
• Work with the Warehouse/Procurement Specialist/Material Coordinator to assure all repair parts are ordered and received to meet the scheduled work.
• Insure all required permits are approved prior to any job start.

Essential Functions & Duties/Responsibilities:

• Positively influence the work practices and behaviors of team members.
• Works with Operations, Maintenance and Engineers to organize and optimize job plans.
• Coaches, counsels, trains and develops staff to assist them to optimize their performance and potential to the organization.
• Contributes to team development with other maintenance representatives, team leaders and engineers on the project.
• Respond as required to the Client’s maintenance needs. Constantly liaise with plant personnel to reprioritize activities as appropriate. Facilitate communication of material movement priorities with logistics personnel.
• Provide clear, consistent plans for varying planning horizons to suit maintenance technicians and operations.
• Development of overall planning processes, encompassing work identification through work order development, work preparation, procurement, logistics, execution and closeout.
• Ensure plans are recognized as common focal point for communication.
• Establishes planning interface requirements for third parties including engineering and maintenance contractors.
• Participate in initial development and ongoing review of maintenance strategies, spares holding, strategies and establishment of vendor & contractor support arrangements.
• Key user of SAP (CMMS). Identifies potential improvements to system or use of system and works with Maintenance Technicians to institute any improvements.
• Any performance deficiencies are to be analyzed and recommendations made for correction.
• The position provides a key interface between engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement and logistics function and external contract personnel. (Quality of communications, both written and oral is a critical requirement, with the aim of ensuring clarity and uniformity in understanding across all parties involved in a particular task.)
• While maintaining continuous focus on retention of safety and environmental control performance requirements of systems, maximize efficiency of operation including pursuing opportunities to minimize unnecessary shutdowns and minimize maintenance costs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Prefers a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering or Technology. High School Graduate with experience
• 5 - 10 of Industrial planning experience or combination of work and education
• 5-10 Years SAP user experience
• Demonstrable familiarity with Industry and corporate standards and Best-Practices as applicable within a plant environment.
• Experience working directly with Reliability Engineers, Craftsmen, and Operations Supervisors.
• Management of Maintenance Office functions
• Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Experience.
• Familiarity with safety requirements (FERC, OSHA and EPA).
• Demonstrated ability to plan multi-craft jobs.
