The Company:
Our client is a leading Global Oil and Gas Operating Company.

The Role:
MAINTENANCE PLANNER - NORTH SLOPE, DAILY
A candidate for our maintenance planner position should possess a great deal of maintenance experience. However, we are willing to hire a less experienced individual, but having more advanced education in engineering, industrial technology, maintenance trades or engineering technology. The type of maintenance experience should be in the areas of electrical, instrumentation or mechanical as those are the craft groups employed in our facilities. The position also requires general background knowledge of the types of technology utilized in upstream oil & gas processing.
Interpersonal and communication skills are needed since the position works with a team of skilled craftsmen and must be able to communicate tasks clearly. Problem-solving skills are also important since the position is responsible for coming up with better ways to perform maintenance. Computer skills are central to this position, a high level of proficiency with a CMMS and MS Office is required, additional application expertise in Primavera 6 and SAP would be helpful.
The position is a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation on the North Slope. Key responsibilities include project planning, project and activity scheduling, extracting, analyzing and presenting data on project and maintenance activity performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors of Science Degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years prior oil and gas industry experience preferred
• Construction experience preferred
• Strong Influencing, Consulting, Mentoring, Analytical, and Computing skills
• Adaptability to changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests
