The Role:
Role synopsis
This position is responsible for facility maintenance and turnaround planning as required for the Gas Plants; within the Greater Prudhoe Bay Field Operating Area. The position is part of a team that delivers activity planning and scheduling. Further responsibilities include: material sourcing, cost tracking, scheduling, coordination and implementation of the facilities operations and maintenance activities. This position reports to the Gas Plants Maintenance Team Leads.
Key accountabilities - Support the facility maintenance teams by developing comprehensive job plans through field inspections, compiling work schedules, and coordinating with the core maintenance staff as well as outside support contractors and teams.
- Develop work plans & estimates for maintenance jobs with necessary information to document the work scope, procure necessary parts and supplies, and to provide for the efficient scheduling, coordination, assignment and implementation of maintenance work.
- Monitor and trend work performance using key performance indicators and other performance measurement systems to develop and recommend methods for improving maintenance performance.
- Develop and maintain data which provides information for the long range plan (2 to 5-year) of major maintenance requirements including: major repair plan for turbines and pumps, Emergency Shut Down (ESD) testing schedule and vessel and tank inspection schedule.
- Maintain the detailed 1-year plan and schedule for each facility for major maintenance activities including: major repair and capital expense (plan and schedule), ESD Testing requirements (plan and schedule), vessel and tank inspection (plan and schedule), and turn around (plan and schedule).
- Ensure operations and maintenance work order costs are approved for funding, correctly assigned, and track costs to notify Maintenance Team Lead when interventions are needed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education - Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- AS or BS in Maintenance related Field preferred.
Essential experience and job requirements - Must have a minimum of 2 years experience and working knowledge of Maintenance Planning & scheduling and the Work Order Cycle
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance Activities in Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation crafts.
- Experience with Project Planning and Scheduling Tools.
- Extensive Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Lead Maintenance Planning Meetings with a multi-skilled operations and maintenance personnel.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Other essential skills and knowledge

- Understanding of the technical content of maintenance work - work scopes, materials, tools, time and craft estimates, and other information required to develop a coherent job plan.
