The Company:
Major Downstream Company

The Role:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Imports workorders from SAP into P6 for the weekly schedule.

- Build weekly schedule and update the daily schedule for planned maintenance.

- Level the work and achieve the highest resource utilization as possible.
• Participates as a Core member of the Scheduling Team in development of our daily maintenance schedules
• Works with the Planning & Scheduling Supervisor and the Maintenance Team to insure Planning Documents and process’s meet the requirements for schedule development on a daily basis.

• Coordinates data preparation and ensures the validity of detail scheduling.
• Reports scheduling status and progress of the maintenance schedule.
• Ensures the integrity of scheduling data management of change processes.
- Facilitate weekly workability meetings to discuss and build the next week's schedule.
- Facilitate daily schedule update meetings to ensure integrity of the daily schedules within the week.






KEY COMPENTENCIES:

• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in maintenance schedule development, including resource leveling
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Knowledge and experience with the latest version of Primavera scheduling software.
• Knowledge of the latest MS Office tools, to include Excel
• Strong understanding and experience with relational databases and report development.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Provide technical support and required data management to those portions of a project dealing with intelligent databases.




QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High school education
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas:
- Craft supervision experience in turnarounds
- Field planning experience for turnarounds or maintenance
- Turnaround scheduling construction and execution experience
- Estimate and budget preparation experience
- Familiarity with scheduling software (P6 etc.)
