The Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor has a shared responsibility and accountability for the security and maintenance of the plant assets and realization of the plant-related business goals. Supervise and administer a team of maintenance staff in an assigned area/unit.

• Act as a liaison to supplement and support MAC’s role when gaps exist between the maintenance and operations.
• Implement reliable maintenance services and solutions to achieve a clear focus and a highly reliable organizational culture.
• Complete the requirements of the Performance Management Process for direct reports tasked to support meaningful opportunities for leader/employee engagement. This includes coaching and career development.
• Act as a primary reliever to the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Encourage team members to develop and utilize a development plan.
• Plan and allocate resources on a quarterly basis together with the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Support MAC in ensuring effective application of the Global Maintenance Work Process:
• Budgeting
• Goal alignment for work processes and measurements
• Service Level Agreements
• Key Performance Indicators with focus on Performance Management Implementation/Effectiveness
• Lead team in the area of accountability: Six Sigma, RCI, etc.
• Significant involvement in EH&S engagement, particularly in the field of personal safety and compliance.
• Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices strictly comply with EH&S guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering Discipline is required
• Considerable experience in the areas of QA/QC management, operating discipline / document management
• Computerized Maintenance Management System and metrics is required with experience in supervision.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to implement and drive an effective maintenance quality control program.
• Ability to implement and drive an effective maintenance document management program.
• Ability to implement maintenance metrics that monitor daily maintenance and drive improvements.
