The Role:
To create maintenance schedule using job plans, applying the most cost-efficient method and available resources.

• Receive work order and check for administrative compliance.
• Set net capacity for the crafts based on information on the area’s turnaround schedule and related available labour.
• Assist in the update of jobs to be included in the “week schedule”.
• Identify resource requirements for the scheduled jobs using the job plans.
• Build the week schedule applying the most effective and efficient use of available resource and schedule.
• Initiate material movement for scheduled jobs and identify resource leveraging opportunities.
• Lead scheduling meetings and communicate with operations.
• Monitor/review performance measures and lead scheduling improvement efforts.
• Comply with EH&S guidelines and overall safety processes.
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in a maintenance craft role
• Substantial experience in petrochemical maintenance.
• Solid experience as a Senior Maintenance Planner or Work Coordinator.
• Past experience should include serving as mentor and coordinating the activities of a team of schedulers in creating, communicating and updating a site maintenance schedule to ensure an efficient use of resources.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Master Scheduler is required.
• Certification in project management skills (critical path methodology, etc.) is highly preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of equipment and maintenance work processes is required.
