The Company:
Our client is one of the largest producers of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) in the Middle East.

The company produces a wide range of LDPE grades that are suitable for all thermoplastics processing techniques used for various applications. These include, food packaging, agricultural films, extrusion and coating lamination films, high-clarity films, injection moulding, cables, wires, foam and other products that are widely used all over the world.

The Role:
Collaborate with all planners and sectional heads within the assigned area to collate information and prepare the integrated master schedule for major overhauls and unit shutdowns while coordinating the timely resolution of maintenance issues in accordance with the maintenance plan/HSE standards in order to support achievement of reliability, integrity, uninterrupted operations and sustenance of high productivity support. The selected candidate shall be performed his duty independently to support the concerned section as per the below detailed task.
• Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• Facilitation of daily and weekly work planning meetings with Maintenance, operations and other supporting documents.
• Develop maintenance shutdown schedules integrating all activities into one comprehensive plan.
• Develop and update the management level schedule to summarize schedule status information for shutdowns and major overhaul
• Maintain the accuracy of the Master Schedule, and advise the Maintenance planning & turnaround manager of any circumstances, which may impact the final project delivery program.
• Participates in plant safety, health and environment packages.
• Create Pm schedule son all critical equipment and quality regulated equipment.
• Creates maintenance schedules and assign the work integrating both the customers and maintenances needs.
• Coordinate with the maintenance planners to ensure production balance with their need of equipment reliability through proactive maintenance
• Follow up and communicates schedules to all resources: maintenance, production, outside services, stores and engineering.
• Manage backlog of work orders and properly communicate with maintenance planners.
• Completes any other tasks as needed or as directed by management.
• Coordinate with maintenance planners to avail the information for scheduling activities.
• Schedule the work as per availability of resources and update the schedule as per actual progress.
• Issue the real report from Primavera with actual status.
• Prepares and updates the Master Schedule for major overhaul and unit shutdowns using P6 software.
• Schedule to optimize sufficient backing for scheduling and efficient use of manpower. Analyze data against schedule, determines inadequate performance and recommend correct actions.
• Coordinates and issues the maintenance weekly plan with all resources allocation.
• Issues and updates the management level schedule (also called the milestone schedule) to summarize schedule status information for shutdowns and major overhaul.
• Prepares closeout analysis of schedule information to maintain accurate standards and guidelines for future projects. Analyzes thoroughly the interacting dynamics between the requested jobs and number of manpower and distributes the requested work among maintenance work teams.
• Contribute in evaluation of tenders with respect to compliance regarding master schedule and quality requirements.
• As a member of “SAP Change Management Panel” review, approve and prioritize SAP related change requests, enhancement, and projects, identify its impact on other domains to ensure integrations are maintained and best practices are followed.
• Identify, manage and provide SAP role access to business users through GRC access management.
• Create, maintain and update relevant master data of Sap for the business domain.
• Prepare, assemble and conduct end user training in are of functional expertise and participate in the development of structure walk through of SAP functionalities to the end users ensuring optimum utilization of SAP software
• Develop and run programs for guidance and training of all Sap users to ensure optimum utilization of Sap capabilities within the business process.
• Develop and recommend continuous improvements to policies and procedures and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering the SAP authorization area activity by capturing functional/business requirements from end users thereby ensuring proper utilization of SAP with newly implemented business process.
• Act as first line of contact for business process help and system navigation for the respective are in order to ensure optimal operations efficiency.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices in maintenance planning, taking into account global best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal department and external entities such contractors, and service providers etc. with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical technical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
• Provide inputs and implement departmental policies, systems and procedure across the plan so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
• Prepare departmental statements and reports timely and accurate to meet department requirements, policies and standards.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Basic Qualification & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in high volume maintenance scheduler.
• Knowledge of planning software
• Shall have profession certification of Project management scheduler (PMI-SP)
• Have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labour hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job
• Good demonstrated organizational and planning skills
• Knowledge and understands the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and inventory processes.
• Knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance theory.
• Knowledge of downtime analysis and good knowledge of problem solving tools.
• Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures

Language & communication skills:
• Ability to communicate fluently in English language.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability for independent decision-making a

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Middle East will be preferential
• Experience in Qatar desirable
