The Role:

Key Accountabilities

As part of the AzSPU Reliability and Maintenance team the Maintenance Strategy Execution team is tasked with the following deliverables:

• Maximise uptime by driving non intrusive maintenance and avoiding need for equipment shutdowns.
• Execute cost effective cross functional maintenance.
• SPA (Single Point Accountable) and interface with Platform
• Manage Maintenance Contracts including technical performance reviews
• Develop work packs for CAP activity
• Plan CAP Activity 8Q to 12 W to satisfy gate criteria.
• Technical Support for platform.

Reporting to the Maintenance Strategy and Execution Team Leader, this is a key role in delivery of the hub maintenance performance. The role includes support to onshore/offshore Operations, performance management of maintenance vendors, technical assurance for maintenance delivery and will require a number of offshore visits each year.
Maintenance Engineers will be ‘Focal Point’ for the Engineering, Maintenance and Inspection activities. Supporting the effective delivery of planning & scheduling with accountability for ensuring execution, closeout, and lessons learned for non-production critical preventive and corrective maintenance with scopes including:
• Planned Maintenance Routines
• Long Term Correctives – (Non Routine)
• Rotating Equipment Activity - (GT Overhauls & Inspections / Major Pump Change-outs)
• Maintenance Campaigns such as; Electrical / Mechanical / Instrument Maintenance, PSV, EX, Hose, Crane, Lifeboats, F&G.

Cost efficiency and focus is a key element of the role. Setting of the budget and monitoring the VOWD for goods and services against the contracts is required to ensure the AGT region stays on track with business model.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maximise uptime by driving non intrusive maintenance and avoiding need for equipment shutdowns.
• Execute cost effective cross functional maintenance.
• SPA (Single Point Accountable) and interface with Platform
• Manage Maintenance Contracts including technical performance reviews
• Develop work packs for CAP activity
• Plan CAP Activity 8Q to 12 W to satisfy gate criteria.
• Technical Support for platform.

Activity Delivery
• In conjunction with Maintenance Planner, support detailed activity planning for maintenance activity and operations.
• Work closely with maintenance planner in obtaining information to build routine task job-plans
• Management and coordination of maintenance campaigns
• Work closely with maintenance vendors and ensure POs are placed
• Work with the Material Controller to ensure activity materials are ordered
• Monitor offshore scope and progress during execution and assist from onshore where required.
• Review maintenance vendor reports and raise corrective work-orders after consultation with relevant parties where required
• Incorporate close-out and lessons learned from breakdown maintenance, under the accountability of the ACE, into preventive maintenance routines and corrective maintenance where required
• Actively participate at 8Q Planning meetings, with accountability for representing asset Maintenance
• Actively participate at 12W / 6W Planning meetings with accountability for representing asset Maintenance
• Actively participate at the Monthly Integrity Meetings as required.
• Provide support to the GMS deployment project as required to ensure smooth implementation of new strategies across offshore operations.
• Ongoing identification of maintenance program improvements and enhancements.
Vendor Performance Management
• Supplier Performance Management and key contact for maintenance contracts
• Key maintenance vendors include:- Hydrasun, Enermech, ABB and Rolls Royce.
• Hold monthly meetings and QPRs
• Assist resolving vendor issues
• Create Performance Improvement Plan with maintenance providers in co-ordination with offshore team to drive continuous improvement
Commercial Accountability
• Develop and agree long term OPEX Budget associated with assigned Contracts Budgets which range from $500K to $17M depending on Vendor.

• BRO for allocated Contract and platform maintenance activities.

Technical Assurance / Reliability
• Review PMR content for correctness to ensure activity optimisation
• Pro-actively support planner with backlog management
• Develop and deploy value adding technology in the maintenance arena
• Definition of critical spares and ensuring resource controller is aware of any shortfall
• Identification and dissemination of Best Maintenance Practices throughout the AGT Region
• Use prior experience from operations and maintenance and share learning’s in pursuit of improvement programs.
• Provide Technical Performance Assurance that overall asset Business Risks are being managed
• Identification of plant or procedural modifications needed to meet the changing needs and act as job officer for minor plant modifications
• Able to undertake operational risk assessments, incident investigation and analysis
• Contribute to development & improvement of maintenance performance measures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential education-

• Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent.
Essential criteria-

• Experience in discipline engineering & maintenance.
• Extensive understanding of the offshore working environment.
• Has knowledge and demonstrated project management skills.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable Criteria

• Has familiarity with industry design and construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Is competent in reading technical drawings
• Must be strong communicator with proven influencing and networking skills. Also have the ability to work in multi-discipline team.
• Demonstrated strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft office, Excel, and computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
• A good working knowledge of tools used for data analysis.
• Knowledge of the Safety Case Verification process, Safety Critical Elements, Written Schemes and Performance Standards.
