The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. The Role:
◦Proposing, developing and implementing optimised discipline maintenance strategies and associated maintenance routines for critical equipment, using RCM study outputs, benchmarks and industry best practices as appropriate.
◦Ensure accurate implementation of agreed TAQA maintenance strategies and PM Routines to new and existing equipment in the asset register, populating upload spreadsheets and associated change control documentation as directed.
◦Reviewing planned maintenance schedules and appropriately aligning new or existing activities to ensure efficient delivery to plan.
◦Continuous review of preventive maintenance programs to ensure appropriate coverage, smooth resource profiling, quality of estimates and task effectiveness.
◦Review/Modify/Optimise Maintenance strategies and schedules in line with IVB actions or business strategy, corporate governance and legislative changes.
◦Blank sheet maintenance program development.
◦Development of discipline sparing strategies and the review of OEM spare part proposals, existing spares inventory etc. to ensure appropriate stock holdings are managed and visible.
◦Liaison with Technical Authorities and offshore supervision for agreement and formal approval of all proposed maintenance and spares strategy changes, PMR and schedule updates etc.
◦Produce project plans and provide regular progress updates as directed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
◦HNC, HND or a time served offshore discipline technician with a recognised NVQ (or equivalent) qualification.
•Strong experience in a similar oil industry technical position.
•Sound knowledge of the functionality and operation of a typical North Sea production platform.
•Experienced in the use and update of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - MAXIMO.
•Detailed understanding of typical maintenance management processes for a North Sea production platform.
•Experienced in the development, optimisation and implementation of discipline maintenance strategies in the oil and gas sector (From strategy development to CMMS implementation).
•Previous maintenance upgrade project experience, specifically including the creation of detailed data files for electronic upload by the CMSS Administrator.
•Ability to perform basic analysis of operational and maintenance data to identify areas requiring intervention.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (e.g. FMECA) and IPF techniques.
•Understanding of Condition Monitoring and typical watch-keeping activities and their application offshore.
•Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
◦Offshore survival certificate.
