The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor has shared responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel and achievement of the plant related business goals. Supervises and administrate team of maintenance staff in an assigned area/unit.
1. Function as a liaison to supplement and support the MAC role when gaps exist between maintenance and operate plant (or other functions)
2. A clear focus will exist on creating a highly reliable organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.
3. Complete the requirements of the Performance Management Process for direct reports which is leveraged to support meaningful opportunities for leader/employee engagement. This includes coaching and career development.
4. Act as a primary back-up to the Maintenance Superintendent.
5. Encourage team members to develop and utilize a development plan.
6. Plan and allocate resources on a quarterly and higher level together with Maintenance Superintendent.
7. Support the MAC to ensure effective application of the Global Maintenance Work Process
a. Budgeting
b. Goal alignment for work processes and measurements
c. Service Level Agreements
d. Key Performance Indicators with focus on Performance Management Implementation/Effectiveness
8. As required, participate on and leads teams in area of accountability: Six Sigma, RCI, etc.
9. Significant involvement in EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.
10. Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices are strictly comply with EH&S guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
