The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
As the Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical, Central Processing Plant, you will be responsible for maintenance and reliability of the site and the site’s infrastructure. You will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with Company Oil & Gas Upstream Operations and standards and whenever and wherever possible industry best practice is applied to support ongoing improvement in operational performance. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent to manage maintenance performance management systems, ensuring that processing plant facilities achieve required integrity, reliability, and availability.

The Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical will assist in the management of maintenance performance activities (daily, weekly, monthly, annual), instigating improvement plans to maximise the integrity, reliability and availability of the central processing plant.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management of centralised, specialised resources such as metering, rotating equipment and planning
• Assist in the full alignment between Brisbane based Maintenance function and site/field maintenance activities
• Identify gaps in maintenance activities/processes and assist in the development of procedures to improve the situation
• Ensure Safety Critical Routines are completed on time and compliance targets are met
• Proactively use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for unplanned outages and ensure a fixed forever approach is taken and reports submitted
• Co-own maintenance reporting tools, enabling effective vendor management; cost, progress against work programmes and safety competence
• Actively owns the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and promote its use for technical analysis of the historical results

This PERMANENT role will operate on a FIFO basis from Brisbane on a rotational 15 Days On / 13 Days Off Basis.
Whilst interstate candidates will be considered flights are funded from Brisbane to Site ONLY

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• To be successful in this role it is ESSENTIAL that candidates hold CERT. 3 in Instrumentation
• Substantial experience in oil and gas or related industry experience
• Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership qualities
• Extensive knowledge of safety case and OHS requirements in processing plant
• Proven experience in the resolution of complex problems in operational facilities and rotating equipment
• Proven ability to identify emerging trends and can foresee maintenance risks and opportunities
