The Role:
Position Purpose:
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics and PLCs in a production environment. Perform preventative maintenance as well equipment upgrades and project work related to commissioning of new manufacturing lines and related support equipment.

Key Functions:

• Schedule and perform routine maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and robotics
• Some experience in maintaining and repairing up to 2 of: OEM, Fanuc, Control Systems
• Familiarity with PLCs a plus if Allen Bradley
• Manufacturing troubleshooting experience with automated equipment
• Ability to use ohmmeter and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Ability to read hydraulic drawings and troubleshoot hydraulic equipment (cylinders, manifolds, etc)
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wire accordingly
• Assist in installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform maintenance on the facility as required
• Create preventative maintenance checklists for operators to follow
• Use of common associated hand tools and automated or semi-automated equipment
• Assist and prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities
• Create labor records for all transactions
• Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies
• Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklist
• Flexibility to work day/night/weekend shifts.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred:
Education: 2 year relevant technical degree only; BS not required.

Experience: 1-2 years maintenance experience in similar position or 4+ years without degree and relevant hands on training
