The Company:
Our client is the largest gas producer in the Netherlands, with annual production of around 50 billion m³. 70 % of gas (37 billion m³) comes from the Groningen field and the rest from various smaller fields elsewhere on the mainland and in the North Sea (15 billion m³).

The Role:
Reports to: Delivery Engineer Maintenance for a line management report. Discipline Engineer for day to day activities.
Direct reports: Delivery Team Lead On/Offshore

Role purpose Preparation of preventive, corrective and extra ordinary maintenance including workpacks considering time, resources, materials, equipment/tools in line with SHEQ policies and procedures with a focus on Offshore cranes. Key roles & responsibilities • Preparation of work in line with requested compliance to achieve integrity • Ensure all maintenance is undertaken with the highest regard to SHEQ issues • Comply with all statutory and legislative requirements • Monitor and control budgets associated with discipline maintenance activities • Liaise with repair contractors, manufacturers, vendors etc. as necessary • Develops a pro-active attitude aimed at a decrease of reactive tasks • Discuss, review outstanding work order status • Ensure integrity of data held in maintenance support systems such as SAP is accurate • Prepare the purchasing requisitions and/or call off materials • Implementation of the Crane Maintenance department into the Maintenance group; • Interaction between Technical Authorities and Crane suppliers. Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Skills Qualifications/Experience Essential Desirable • Practical experience in a similar function; • Experience with offshore installations; • Experience and knowledge of SAP; • Offshore Crane experience; • Proficient in English. • Knowledge of (Technical) Business Administration. • Recognised trade qualification / NVQ 4 HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering Degree (preferable); Personal qualities, attitudes and skills • Knowledge of monitoring and controlling with associated discipline maintenance activities; • To be able to make decisions or request support when not sure; • Team player; • Supportive mentality; • Good communication skills.
