The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Management Accountant (Operations) to support the Operations team on behalf of Finance. The primary aim is the successful delivery of the Finance Operations Readiness Programme. This programme ensures our client’s finance organisation will be capable of delivering all financial activities to the business now and during operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the development of finance processes, as well as the integration between finance and other business processes
• Acting as the focal point for many of the Finance Operations Readiness Programme tasks undertaken by the Finance team including the training and communication of initiatives
• Design, execution, delivery and communication of directly assigned Finance Operations Readiness Programme tasks; and providing support to other Finance personnel and external consultants undertaking Finance Operations Readiness Programme tasks
• Communicating advice and recommendations to all stakeholders for any issues identified
• Providing support to the Operations team for all Management Accounting activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be successful for this position, you will require the following:

• At least five years’ experience within both complex accounting and E&P Operator environments
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant Finance discipline and at least seven years’ experience post graduate is essential for this role
• Previous experience working within technical disciplines, (such as Operations, Exploration or Projects) as well as a strong working knowledge of SAP is also necessary
• In addition to the technical skills and experience, you must have demonstrated skills and experience in project management; along with the ability to work well within a team, build relationships (including with non-finance team members) and adapting to change is key to success in this role
