The Company:
Our client, a leading company in North America for supplying reliable and efficient energy, is looking to add to their team.

This role is open to Canadian Residents only.

The Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position will have the responsibility for developing, managing and leading all contract administration for a large Marine Construction Project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide oversight and administration of existing Marine engineering and pre-construction contracts
- Prepare and distribute information to appropriate employees regarding contract status, and facilitate contractor meetings
- Correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, and payment schedules
- Review and make recommendations on weekly change management statistic reports
- Act as single point of contact for all formal communication with contractors including schedule submittals, trends, and quality
- Ensure effective and timely formation of RFP's, contracts and agreements, and lead negotiation of contracts and supply agreements
- Manage and strengthen project management team, contractor, and supplier relationships
- Ensure goods and services are obtained effectively to meet project requirements and in accordance with corporate compliance requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive Marine engineering and/or construction experience
- At least 10 years in a Marine Contract Administration role in Supply Chain/Procurement
- Competency in SCM systems and tools, including SAP
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Proficiency Certificate in a technical based field of study (Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Completion or progress towards PMAC program with CPP/SCMP designation an asset
- Demonstrated leadership ability and recent experience leading direct reports
- Experience in effective resource allocation and utilization (budget preparation, forecasting, re-basing, staff scheduling, supply chain management, etc.)
