The Company:

The Role:
Managing a team of engineers and Hourly Team Member responsible for identifying, containing and correcting issues affecting our customers that originate with GM made engines and transmission

•PFMEA/ Control Plan analysis and support
•Resource planning and utilization
•Current product Improvement Team (CPIT) implementation
•Involve in change approval process/ PET (Program Execution Team) meetings, quality valve process

Quality Operation
•Supervision of Manufacturing Inspection Stations
•Leading warranty issue investigation
•Conducting Process Improvement activities
•Leading utilization of PRTS (Problem Resolution Tracking System) for Powertrain
•CPIT/ FPET (Field Performance Evaluation Team)/ Team meeting attendance
•Lead and train personnel for GMS (Global Manufacturing Systems) implementation

Quality Assurance
•Coordinate PPAP (Production Part Approval process) to customers
•Lead Pre-PIT (Product Improvement Team) and CPIT meetings to reduce product issues
•Tracking of Quality Metrics and Conduct Improvement Activity
•Vehicle Plant Disruption Coordination
•Participate in Layered Audit process and develop with manufacturing audit
•Develop and conduct Quality Training as needs evolve
•Be able to train, lead and resolve problem solving team
•Implement and maintain GMS

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
•Knowledge in quality system

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience in the technical side of manufacturing
•Experience with control plan, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PEMEAS)
•Knowledge or experience in analyzing warranty data preferred
•Technical problem solving training or experience preferred
•Ability to organize and conduct meeting
•Good communication skill in English/Thai
•Ability to manage a team
•Ability to read blueprints is preferred

•Strong people skill
•Ability to work with data and provide summary metrics
•Decision making capability
