The Company:
Large international producer of personal protective equipment is looking for potential candidates for Manager Regulations and Standards

The Role:
• Providing leadership in the understanding monitoring, defining and influencing of regulatory requirements in RCR;
• Leading horizontal issues that impact all Company businesses and working on specific issues as directed by the businesses that need in-country support;
• Maintaining a deep and broad understanding of industry and technical trends and practices in the area of product safety, standards and regulations.
• Identifying influential stakeholders and existing undercurrents along with formally available procedures;
• Maintaining working relationships with trade and industry associations
• Performing as subject matter expert on Standards, Regulations and Conformity Assessment requirements;
• Collaborating with Product Groups to provide technical translation service for standards, operation manuals, test reports, out-factory inspections, and certifications etc.
• Providing the necessary information on certification requirements for appropriate decisions and actions on products;
• Having a thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements in the Country/Region through a network of Company professionals continuously monitoring and maintaining involvement in applicable standards, and coordinating necessary efforts to comply.
• Facilitating the networking of all Company International colleagues to ensure a consistent Company position on industry product standards.
• Participating in standard discussion panels, safety application meetings, etc. and gain valuable knowledge on any implication that might result from future actions regarding standards and approvals.
• Participating in product line monitoring and shaping of standards;
• Developing relations with ISO mirror comities and identify additional committees which present interest in a long-term outlook;
• Managing relationships with key external organizations to enhance opportunities to communicate Company position on standards, regulations and conformity assessment;
• Coordinating the development of Company positions, strategies and tactics for dealing with standards, regulation or conformity assessment proposals impacting market access or cost for products;
• Pro-actively supporting CFT when consulting customers on safety processes and standard application.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Higher education in Engineering, science degree is an advantage
• Strong technical knowledge of PPE products
• Fluency (spoken and written) in both local language and English
• Capability to translate and transfer in both directions (Russian-English, English-Russian).
• Effective in verbal and written communications
• Skilled negotiator (ability to defend Company interest)
• Relationship builder and initiative
• Self-reliance and imagination
