The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
As the Manager Strategy, Planning and Architecture you will develop and maintain IM&T Strategy and convert it into an activity plan alongside all IM&T business projects and activities.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the Enterprise Architecture covering, business, information, applications, integration and technology.
• Manage the development of IM&T processes to meet process maturity goals.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets for IM&T.
• Assist in the development of commercially sound business cases for IM&T initiatives.
• Develop and maintain the Company's Enterprise Application, Information, integration and Technology Architecture.\Implement processes to trigger IM&T Strategy updates and ensure the strategy reflects business requirements and is reflected in IM&T work plans.
• Identify issues, risks and opportunities through in-depth understanding of project and operations lifecycles.
• Assist the Security & Compliance assurance function in develop risk management plans and business continuity/disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure standards and guidelines are developed according to local, regional and international regulations.
• Engage with the business on IM&T matters with special attention to business alignment and architecture.
• Professionally represent the organisation in workshops, meetings and other Company forums.
• Establish and maintain effective professional business networks inside and outside the business.
• Proactively seek out new and innovative technologies to improve the delivery of IM&T services to the business.
• Develop long term relationships with business representatives, staff and vendors including the diverse organisation covering Exploration, Operations and Corporate Services.
• Develop and maintain Enterprise Architecture.
• Develop and maintain IM&T Activity Plan ensuring that PMO Portfolio, IT Strategy and other IM&T plans are included.
• Ensure key compliancy dates are planned for including audits and J-SOX assessments.
• Implement maintenance and monitoring process to ensure process maturity model is implemented according to agreed timelines.
• Manage IM&T architecture and planning projects as required.
• Assist with the development of business cases and tender documents.
• Assist in policy and guideline development for the IM&T Department.
• Maintain central repository of documentation.
• Maintain the collection of IM&T principles and guidelines.
• IM&T expertise in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Project Management.
• Ability to develop organisation-wide IM&T plans, architectures, standards and processes.
• Proven ability to construct logical business improvement opportunities.
• Good understanding of IM&T technologies, systems and standards and their application to the business along with the ability to develop technology strategies that support business strategies.
• Ensure IM&T planning processes are consistent with industry standard.
• Ensure architecture reflects current business requirements and is up to date with current trends.
• Mature the overall IM&T process to increase efficiency and effectiveness of IM&T service and project delivery.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in IM&T or related field, or relevant experience.
• Extensive experience working on large projects and systems in complex environments.
• Sound understanding of the major milestones and related information requirements for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge and awareness of engineering data and document management systems.
• Sound understanding of the information and technology practices required for LNG producing operations.
• Knowledge and experience of IT & IS practises in an operational and corporate environment.
• Skills, knowledge and experience in project management.
• Ability to develop and implement Architecture and Standards.
• Ability to analyse and formally document IM&T requirements to management.
• Knowledge and experience of IM&T methodologies and frameworks (such as ITIL and SDLC).
• Communication skills will be exceptional as will be your ability to present concepts and provide precise, high quality advice to all levels of an organisation.
