The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
CMM Programmer Provide an independent measurement service for the Wolverhampton EMC site, across the machining and assembly areas, including blocks, heads, cranks and supplied parts. Supporting investigation activities for process, teardown, supplied parts and warranty. Support the implementation and monitoring of the department's compliance with corporate initiatives/ Standards (TS16949 etc. )

Shift work 7am - 3.30pm Mon - Thursday 7am - 2.30pm Friday 10pm - 7am Mon - Thursday 7pm - 12am Friday When full head count - 3rd shift will be introduced as below. Fridays to be confirmed 6am - 2pm Mon - Thursday 2pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am Monday - Thursday

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1st Principles , CMM Calypso Programming Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):-
Metrology, Powertrain, Investigations
Block, head, Crank. Experience in programming and operating Coordinate Measurement Machines using Calypso Have a detailed knowledge of metrology, first principles and measurement equipment Can competently read and interpret engineering drawings Indentured Apprenticeship is Required Computer literate including specialist metrology software, Microsoft Office and CAD, Vis-plus experience

Apprenticeship time served / min 5 years measurement experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
ISIR / FAIR, Office , Drawings / GDT,
