The Company:
My client is a leader in their field, Manufacturing and developing a range of Hardware, software and proven communication technologies all linked into Energy management solutions, with government targeted growth plans in place, they will continue to grow over the next few years.

The Role:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will introduce new equipment, manufacturing cells and products, whilst searching for continual improvements in operational efficiencies in order to meet demanding commercial targets. Interfacing with key stakeholders across EMEA to deliver new projects and initiatives.

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Preparing and managing detailed plans in which engineering deliver Production improvements, ensuring that new automation, equipment and product are tailored to meet Customer demands.
• Ensuring all engineering and manufacturing departments work together cohesively to attain specific targets.
• Managing Manufacturing Engineers work schedules and budgets related to the development and introduction of new manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Effectively manage all supplier support to deliver high levels of Quality, Continuous Improvement and cost reductions.
• Identifying and implementing technological & manufacturing improvements aimed at improving Quality, reducing the overall manufacturing cost and maximising company profitability.
• Maximising performance using KPI’s with OEE to monitor and review.
• Leading NPI reviews highlighting and managing key areas to the project team, including manufacture processes, vendor selection and management and testing.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, managing strategic and short term projects within a dynamic environment
• The ability to direct large-scale engineering projects.
