Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
The client is unique in crafting some of the most unique and luxurious interiors within the Automotive industry. From Cutting Leather, Sewing Covers and Trimming the Interior components we are able to offer a Customer their own personal specification without compromise. With continued growth and the introduction of a 4th model range we are currently recruiting for Process Engineers the Seat area/department to support the team developing current model and launch new products in the Seats and Trim technology.


Consultancy, development and improvement of processes for manufacturing area
Planning of manufacturing processes and equipment
Lead operative Quality improvement activities
Collaboration with Engineering during Product Emergence Process to secure SOP (start of production)
Responsibility for achieving targets for series production and new models after SOP
Secure change control for e.g. engineering changes and production trials
Develop, enhance and maintain product documentation (e.g. process instructions, operative amendments, bill of materials, PFMEA)
Teach/set, improve and secure equipment processes
Act as an facilitator throughout the manufacturing process


Engineering degree preferred
German Language skills desirable


Ideally multi-year professional experience at OEM, Automotive Supplier or similar industry with focus on Seats
Has experience of assembly facilities, methods and techniques for Seat and Cabin sewing
Understand the principal operation and types of industrial sewing machines
Experience of automotive seat production in a volume environment
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to lead and coordinate cross functional teams
Good knowledge in Lean Production, Continuous Improvement and Industrial Engineering preferred
High sense of responsibility and costs
Structured and self-dependant way of working
High level of analytical and conceptional skills and ability to manage work loads
Team player and good communication skills
Self-confident personality and emanate authority
