The Role:
MAIN JOB DUTIES

Assist with:
• Contract Management of Marine Logistics contracts including but not limited to the following:
 Implementation of OIMS Contractor oversight and OIMS 8-1 processes
 Contractor safety stewardship.
 Execution of quality assurance program
 Work with Procurement on contract actions for all Marine Logistics contracts.
 Periodic visits to marine operational sites and vessels to verify SMS implementation
 Coordinating planning for repair periods
 Stewarding on/off-hire process
 Stewardship of Contract costs
• Vessel/site insepctions.
• Steward development and closure of contractor OVIQ and other inspection/incident close out plans.
• Stewarding vessel schedules and fuel bunkering
• Stewarding marine fuel bunker scheduling
• Periodic review of Contractor and Client Marine Procedures (DK and Logisitics), IBEV Escort Procedures, and bunkering procedures.
• Development and implementation of marine procedures for new projects/operations.
• Providing support post any tanker or support vessel incident with communication via IMT and incident review, investigation and action implementation.
• Providing technical input/support for long term marine strategies and support Lifting Group commercial evaluations
• Developing and stewarding bid process and technical evaluation for new Marine Logistics contracts.
• Providing technical marine support for Marine Transportation and all marine and subsea activities (Facilities/PPG/Diving/EMDC).
• Identify cost efficiency and reduction opportunities and provide leadership for implementation.
• Actively participating in and supporting coordination / agenda development for annual Ship Owner meeting.
• Attending Lifting and Transportation Seminar meetings with Co-Venturers depending on extent of technical / long term strategy items being reviewed.
• Providing Marine input during emergency response plan activation
• Involvement in Marine Transporation risk assessments, HAZOPs and risk screening and support for Action Item closure.

Other Responsibilities:
• Ad-hoc weekend coverage for operational integrity
• Periodic foreign and domestic travel and overnight stay for site and vessel visits/inspections, business meetings, conferences and training.
• Sailing/riding vessels on passage for verification of procedural compliance and development of best practices.
• Other duties as required and determined by Department in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Employee is responsible for conscientious performance of his/her duties in accordance with Russian Labor Code.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Master Mariners licence
• Extensive Marine experience as support vessel / tanker Captain or Senior officer



SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

• Keen desire to learn;
• Strong self initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Strong technical judgment and marine technical knowledge
• Knowledge and understanding of transportation agreements
• Ability to work with project management and JV partners in multi-company business environment.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience in vessel and marine office operations
