The Company:
A major Oil and Gas Operator for an Offshore project (conversion project for two FPSO).

The Role:
The service holder is in charge, within the FPSO team and under the responsibility of the Marine Leader, of activities related to the coordination of marine engineering and marine equipment and services procurement.
The service holder will ensure, during detailed engineering and procurement phases that all deliverables and documents (both internal and external) related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of are timely issued
and fitted for purpose. He/she shall ensure compliance of Contractors deliverables and documents with Company HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes and standards and best engineering practices, and with
Project specifications. He/she will review deviations to Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries.
The service holder will be the Contractor contact point for all matters related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
The service holder will participate in the management of discipline-related engineering interfaces with other concerned disciplines/packages. He/she is responsible for monitoring the engineering of the disciplines and subjects he/she is in
charge of. He/she will timely and actively liaise with other Hull Specialists and with Topsides and Turret Specialists.
The service holder will be in charge of the procurement follow-up for the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
He/she timely and actively liaise with the Procurement Manager for procurement matters related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
The service holder will assist the FPSO Hull Leader, the Marine Leader and the Procurement Manager in relationship with the Contractor for all the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.
The service holder reports to the Marine Leader.
The service holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules and requirements and for ensuring their implementation within his scope of responsibility.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (years): 10-20
Experience in similar position (years): +/- 7
(Sound experience in Marine engineering for similar type of project required)
Level / Diploma: Chief Engineer Class I STCW 95 or equivalent.
Languages: English mandatory

Excellent in:
HULL Engineering (marine)
HULL Construction / Conversion

Good in:
Project management (Budget/Cost/Schedule)
