The Role:
•Specialist Support, Select/Define/Execute Phases, Subsea Equipment Fab and yard development planning and implementation.
•Work with contractors to prepare development plan for fabrication of subsea equipment, including development of Marine and Subsea base
•Plan execute strategy for development of marine and subsea base.
•Support safe, reliable and effective Marine & Subsea installation and pre-commissioning activities.
•Promote a strong HSSE performance within the team and Contracting organisations
•Participate in HAZIDs / HAZOPs / PHSSERs and where there is an interface to be facilitated ensure that relevant experience is represented at these sessions.
•Ensure full participation in the risk and opportunity matrix. Ensure all Marine & Subsea risks, especially high consequence risks are identified and actioned effectively.
•Ensure that contractor provides a strong and reliable technical solution to execute their scope of work.
•Review, help develop and clarify contractors proposals, procedures and systems for fabrication of subsea equipment
•Review, help develop and clarify contractors proposals, procedures and systems for development of marine and subsea base
•Advise on development, suitability and workability of plans and systems through to execution.
•As a member of the Marine and Subsea Team, actively contribute to the performance of the Team in terms of timely deliveries, cost management, risk and opportunity management by supporting the Major Projects common process and to deliver required documentation in the correct format.
•Focal point to ensure satisfactory input for Region requirements for PIMS update (pipelines).
•Focal point for installation contractor detail engineering including liaison with construction team in Baku and participate in progress/interface meetings with contractors.
•Review and comment upon contractor’s submitted design and construction documentation
•Initiate, manage and where appropriate undertake specific engineering studies to improve scope definition and resolve technical issues.
•Locally manage expediting of specific documentation and data to ensure deadlines and schedules are met.
•In undertaking engineering studies ensure that designs comply with IM standards, relevant ETPs, Design assurance Plans, Codes and Standards, specifications and BODs.
•Ensure relevant TAs are kept fully appraised of key technical issues, status and outstanding actions at all times.
•Ensure system engineering, scope of work and BOD documents are monitored and liaise with all relevant parties following MOC and ECR procedures where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree qualified Engineer
•Delivery experience in a Marine and Fabrication environment.
•Experience with Performance Management of team, contractors and suppliers to ensure high standards are realised.
