The Role:
Accountabilities and End Results:
Through an Integrated Onshore Operations Centre (OOC), support the tactical deployment of marine resources to support the integrated planning process.
Ensure compliance with asset specific safety cases regarding Logistics resource, emergency response, rescue and recovery and collision risk management.
Primary Functions:
HSE
 Actively support all HSE efforts relating to marine activities, identifying and participating in improvement opportunities
 Participate in hazard identification / risk assessment reviews as required for marine activities
 Ensure management of change principles and processes are applied for operational changes
 Comply with all ConocoPhillips ethical policies, standards and procedures
Operations
 Develop 12-18 month marine resource plan, supporting implementation of fleeting strategies
 Provision of annual sailing schedules for term vessels
 Provision of daily, weekly and fortnightly vessel activity plans for operating assets
 Active participation in scheduled operating asset 14-day, 30-day and 90-day planning meetings and other ad-hoc activity planning meetings such as rig move meetings
 Development of marine plans to support ad-hoc/emergent work activity including identification and evaluation of requirements for additional marine resources (supply / rescue & recovery / anchor handling / guard)
 Marine activity planning to incorporate requirements for close standby, loading and discharge of bulks including fuel & water, tank cleaning, etc.
 Plan and monitor term vessel maintenance, dry docking and certification/approval requirements to ensure compliance and planned appropriately
 Sourcing of additional marine resources through call-off agreements / market enquiries via ship broker and subsequent management of resources
 Manage and administer sharing/sublet opportunities with other operators, vessel owners, service providers and internal groups
 Proactively interface with key marine and quayside service providers and other related service providers
 Compliance with all relevant Marine Operations and
Critical Skills:
 Experience in relevant logistics work

 Strong numeracy skills
 Attention to detail and robust approach to all activities
 Strong communication, both verbal & written and interface skills (internal and external customers)
 Proficient with Microsoft Office products in particular Excel
Preferred Requirements:
 SAP experience
 Marine radar tracking systems skills
 Marine radio short range certificate (VHF) or experience may be beneficial
 Offshore vessel operating experience beneficial
 Self-motivated

 Production of information and presentation of key performance indicator measures
 Implementation of improvement actions on marine activity key performance indicators
