The Role:
• Lead, manage and control marine support activities and follow up of related marine operations to offshore operating assets and other operation support departments e.g. supporting in selection of marine support, assist operation asset in any emergency case or simultaneous marine operations.

• Contribute to development of marine operations strategies & management, initiate and carry out any relevant studies regarding marine/ vessel aspects of current operations and development projects.

• Develop and improve the marine operation process & procedures e.g. improving, repairing and maintaining marine tools and applications to use in drilling operations activities.

• Ensure that all marine operations in any field of activity including technical inspection of vessels/barges are performed in accordance with relevant Company’s regulations/procedures, SSHE standards / policies and international marine regulations and recommendations (SOLAS, OCIMF, and ISGOTT).

• Resolve and provide solutions in any problems of routine work regarding marine operations aspects to support other departments e.g. management of service vessels to support traffic and jetty operations, Floating and Storage Offloading Unit (FSO) (Maintenance and Operations), drilling rigs, support vessels for construction, etc.

• To be a marine advisor /marine expertise for recommending the best practices/ solutions on all operation marine logistics e.g. provide advise & guidance to support the Typhoon Emergency Group any emergency situations in all aspects and at all stages of the Typhoon alerts.

• Analyze operation marine supports/ services and implement the appropriate measurement tools to improve efficiency performance e.g. studies and implementation of modification of the FSO.

• Lead and supervise the business contract related services vessel / barges to maximize the company’s benefit e.g. prepare calls for tender for services vessels/barges chartered logistics department and technical evaluation of vessels/barges on reception of bids for tender including preparing the technical administration related all marine supplies and technical follow up activities of vessel/ barge contracts in compliance with procurement system.

• Develop, manage and control operational marine work program & budget in long term and spot chartered, including in charge of the monthly follow-up the progress of planned operations and of occurrence of possible ad hoc requirements to support management requirements.

• Liaise with all marine users for providing any marine advice to improve communications between the Offshore Operating Field and the Logistics Operations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Certificate of Master Mariner Class 1
• 6-8 years tanker experience in Inert Gas System (IGS) and Crude Oil Washing (COW)
• Advance knowledge of Air/Sea logistics in offshore oil/gas field
• Broad knowledge in drilling rigs and crane/ pipelay barges move
• Good command of spoken and written English
• TOEIC Score requirement : 750
