The Company:
Our Client is an independent Australian oil and gas company playing a key role in supplying energy to our region.

They are one of the world’s leading producers of liquefied natural gas, helping meet the demands for cleaner energy from Japan, China, Korea and other countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role:
Response engineering for the FPSO’s in Production. Some support for projects on ad-hoc basis.

Management of change actions:
1. Update Engineering Std to meet the new Client Weight Management Strategy;
2. Update Generic Maintenance Standard;
3. Assessment of hooks for lifeboats;
4. Close out of open HAZOP actions .

Inspection and Maintenance actions:
1. Support and verify execution of the Marine Engineering scope of work for the Okha shipyard campaign.

Improvement actions:
1. Installation of Main Engine PMI (system for measuring cylinder pressure and analysis of engine performance);
2. Reduce number of Life rafts on-board ;
3. Reduction of spare Fire Extinguishers.

1. Support simplified procurement initiative (ESR format);
2. Support to other Developments.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering degree preferred – Marine Engineering or Mechanical (with Marine Engineering experience if Mechanical)
• Class and flag compliance experience
• O&G experience not required (desirable) - shipping industry experience is acceptable
• Needs to be an excellent communicator and autonomous
