The Role:
Kazakhstan Residents only

Marine Environmental Specialist.
Undertake Environment, Labor and Community (ELC) inspections and audits of Contractors Dredging activities (as per the ELC inspection and audit schedule)
Monitor and where necessary enforce compliance of Dredging Contractor’s Waste Management Plan
Promote and enforce CaTRo project & RoK Environmental Standards / Requirements
Promote and enforce CaTRo’s IIF expectations amongst the Contractor Workforce
Report unsafe ELC conditions, near misses and incidents to the Marine / Quay HES Specialist in line with CaTRo’s II&R process
Participating in or facilitating ELC incident investigations, tracking corrective actions through to implementation.
Monitoring and reporting hazards and risks associated with Marine life from Dredging activities
Participate in ELC field inspections and audits, promoting and where necessary enforcing all safe work practices associated with Contractors dredging activities
Review Dredging Contractors risk assessments, JHA’s and method statements
Produce weekly ELC reports
5-10 years of Caspian marine HES experience. Acceptance of accommodation in flotel/accommodation vessel and traveling in small boat. Intermediate English language level.
