The Role:
Conduct all business affairs professionally and in compliance with the companies stated ethical standards, procedures & processes
Liaise with service providers, subcontractors and suppliers regarding Marine related HSE queries and issues
Ensure the positive promotion of the company policies, procedures, safe practices with reference to marine operations, appropriate maritime, offshore legislation and industry guidelines
Pro-actively engage with customer base & external sources sharing/sublet opportunities of marine transport resources
Maintain communications/relationships with customer base for effective performance delivery & conflict resolution of Marine Transport services
Co-ordination & support to anchor and towing operations
Pro-active interface with Marine Transport suppliers
Provide training and briefing of vessel masters and crews in respect to company policy and procedures, as required.
Facilitate and maintain links between vessels, offshore and shore based organisations.
Co-ordination of diesel & water bunkering status in consultation with offshore customers
Provide support and supervision to various departments on marine related projects and provisions.
Reporting of Marine Transport key performance indicators
Provide training and support in relation to marine awareness
Co-ordination of vessel tank cleaning

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in relevant marine logistics essential
Team Player, able to demonstrate good interpersonal & influencing skills.
Strong Health, Safety and Environmental ethic
Problem Solving & workload prioritisation
Decision Making
Results Orientated
Strong communication, both verbal & written and interface skills (internal and external customers)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
SAP
Radar Tracking systems skills
Offshore vessel operating experience beneficial
VHF trained
