The Company:
Our client is a leading HSE consultancy working across a number of industry including the oil and gas industry and Chemical industry. The clients are responsible for securing safety across a number of industries. This role will be working in the client Energy division looking at existing and emerging risking with the offshore energy industry.

The Role:
This position gives an individual a real opportunity to influence and importance safety across a wide range of activities. Looking at ageing installations, new build and high tech innovations from a Marine engineering perspective

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities;
- Conduct special assessment and inspections of oil and gas Installations and vessels.
- Investigate accidents, incidents complaints alone or as part of a team
- Make technical contributions to the development of industry standards and guidance
- Initiate research focused on resolving hazards in the offshore work environment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree educated or a master mariner
- Chartered engineer
- Previous experience with risk assessments and risk management tools
- Experience of design, construction, integrity management and marine operations of support vessels, floating offshore installations.
- Experienced relevant offshore standards
